Program notes

Hyperconnected Fragmentations is an extremely passionate, intense, busy, rhythmic and fast work. It tries to draw connections with other times but without losing its own voice.

The main material of the work comes, somehow from the music industry such as pop, soundtracks or video games. This has formed in me an eclectic, absurd and messy library that I dropped into the piece. While I was composing it, I got absurd links between, for example, the video game Dark Souls and Mecano.

I didn’t know how or why it happened, but the important thing is that it arrived. Hyperconnected Fragmentations is apparently chaotic and fragmented, but I hope I managed to make the listener realize that, at the end, everything is connected.
